Lesser Amberjack - Seriola fasciata
Family Carangidae, JACKS and POMPANOS
Description: Virtual copy of the Great Amberjack, except in size. Most obvious difference is the band though the eye stops forward of the dorsal fin.
Similar fish: Greater Amberjack.
Where found: Not very common. Most that have been identified definitely came from far offshore, usually around weedlines.
Size: Rarely exceeds 12 inches.

Bag Limit: 5 aggregate of lesser amberjack and banded rudderfish.
Comments: Must remain in whole condition until landed ashore (heads and tails intact)
