Description: Thick bodied and streamlined. Dark back usually greenish, with sliver sides. Pointed snout with underslung mouth and forked tail.
Similar fish: Longfin Bonefish.
Where found: Shallow mud or grass flats.
Size: Range from 2 to 10 pounds.
Remarks:
Florida record: 15 pounds, 12 ounces.
