Yellowmouth Grouper - Mycteroperca interstitalis

Description: Nearly a ringer for the Scamp, except the inside corners of the mouth are yellow.
Similar fish: Scamp
Where found: Found in South Florida, Keys, and Gulf reefs.
Found in shallow patches, but also in reefs up to around 120 feet or so.
Size: About 2 to 3 pounds on average.
Remarks: World record is 13 pounds.
