Warsaw Grouper - Epinephelus nigritus

Description: Mottled dark brown to slightly lighter shading on lower portions. Tail square shaped and yellowish. Second dorsal spine is elongated and crest like.
Similar fish:
Where found: All Florida coasts. Very deep dropoffs and ledges, usually below 200 feet.
Size: Second largest Grouper, common up to 30 to 80 pounds. 100 pounders not rare.
