Kids Fishing Clinic

Panama City Beach Kids Fishing Clinic June 7th.

The annual "Kid's Fishing Clinic" will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Panama City Marina. The event is presented by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Children of all ages are invited to participate - free of charge. Registration will begin at 9 A.M.  Kids will have the opportunity to learn the basics of fishing in a safe and friendly environment. A series of educational stations will be set up for the children to progress through. Topics such as knot tying, casting and tackle will be covered.  A parent or guardian must accompany all children.

The first 300 children will be given a free rod and reel to take home.  There will be free hot dogs and coke, free bait. Volunteers are still needed. Please call Ellen at Half Hitch Tackle, 850.234.2621 for information on volunteering.
