Rough water and scattered severe thunderstorms have put a damper on fishing this past week. Despite the gloomy skies, some anglers kicked off their Fourth of July the most American way, catching their limit of Snapper and chasing Tarpon.

Offshore: It's still Snapper season until the 20th, so get them while you can! Kings, Vermillion, and Bonita are all biting.

Inshore: Trout bite has been good either really late at night or really early morning. Redfish are back in the backwaters. Catch Flounder during low tide with soft plastics like Gulp bait or Z-man. Flounder also love Bull minnows as bait.

Surf: Break back out the Sandflea Rake, the Pompano are biting again. Catch them with a Pompano Jig rigged with Fishbites, shrimp or their favorite food Sandfleas!
There are still a bunch of little sharks hanging around in the surf after sunset.

Nearshore: Tarpon Tarpon Tarpon! They're here in droves. Look for them in deeper waters and channels using a Tsunami swimbait or a Hogy swimbait. To read more tips on catching Tarpon click here!
