Description
The General Tools #177-1 Thread Repair File No. 1 is ideal for restoring damaged external threads on studs, bolts, screws, plumbing pipe and pipe fittings. Rusted or corroded fasteners can also be easily repaired with this tool as it doubles as a screw pitch gage. The carbon steel build and black-oxide finish work to prevent rust.

- Thread Pitches: 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24 T.P.I.
