Q: Do we sell fishing licenses?
A: Yes.
Q: What age do you have to be to need a fishing license?
A: If you are 16 years or older you must have a fishing license.
Q: What do I need to bring to get a fishing license?
A: You need to bring your driver's license and social security number with you if you are a U.S. citizen.
Q: What do we need to bring if we are non-citizens?
A: You must bring a passport or a non-citizen driver's license.
Q: How much does a license cost?
A: Resident:
Onshore license is free, but you still have to have one.
Annual - $17.50
Annual salt & freshwater together: $33.00
Gulf reef is free, but you must have one to fish on the reefs.
Goldsportsman annual- $100.50 (allows you to fish and hunt in the state of FL.)
Military: must go to DMV to get Goldsportsman for $20.00 and must have their orders.
Non-Resident:
3-day license $17.50
7-day license $30.50
Annual license $47.50 *Best deal if you’re fishing in Florida two or more times.
Q: When does the State park open?
A: The State Park opens 8:00 am and closes at dusk.
Q: Can you rent rod?
A: Yes we rent rod&reel for $10.00 for 24hrs *this does not include tackle*
Q: What do I need to rent a rod?
A: All you need to bring is a driver's license.
Q: Do you sell live bait?
A: Yes we sell live shrimp, bull minnows (seasonal), and live eel (seasonal).
Q: How much does live bait cost?
A: $4.00 for live shrimp(1 dozen), $5.00 for live Bull Minnows (1 dozen) , $4.50 for live eels (each)
