PC/PCB Fishing Report 11-7-23
Surf Fishing
The most consistent bite has been whiting and redfish. Many of the reds are slot fish. The pompano bite has been slow at times. To our West seems to be best.
Short rods right off the beach have caught some nice fish. Blanched sand fleas and OP Bait soaked shrimp have been hot. Fishgum and Fishbites have produced as well.
Later this week we have a front coming through. Fishing just before it should see an improvement!
Near Shore Trolling
King mackerel are fairly hot right now with bycatches of spanish mackeral or a blackfin tuna!

Bottom Fishing
The bite has improved. Red snapper and mangrove snapper especially!
The vermillion bite has been steady as well. Getting away from the full moon has helped a lot.

Pier Fishing
The king mackerel has been excellent at times with multiple hookups simultaneously happening! Spanish mackerel and redfish are also being caught.
Early has been best. Flatlines with a live or fresh dead are probably your best bet but always have an X-Rap ready to fire!
Bay Fishing
Redfish and trout are patrolling the now cooler waters. Shallow, drop offs, potholes, and other structures.
The pass has good numbers of redfish as well. There are still some smaller, but legal mangroves as well.
Spanish mackerel or bluefish can cruise through at anytime so be ready with a swimbait or a plug.
Offshore Fishing
Blackfin tuna, wahoo, some yellowtail tuna, and marlin are all out there now. It may get a bit rough late week so go if you can ASAP!
