PC/PCB Fishing Report 11-21-25
Bay Fishing
The bite has been good overall with good reports of trout and redfish. The warmth we have had has the fish still in an early fall pattern.
There is still good bait to be found, and these fish are eating in anticipation of the cooler weather that inevitably will show. Currently it looks like warm up to Thanksgiving and then the bottom may fall out on us for a bit.Until then, almost anywhere in the bay will have some fish.
The pass has still been hot and redfish, mangrove snapper, and some sheepshead have been cooperating as well. There are still some bluefish and spanish mackerel around as well.
We have come off of the neap tide and we are having better water movement now with the tides. The bridges are still having redfish catches.Especially on outgoing tides.

*BRAND NEW* Ghost Shrimp FishBites
Get 'em while they're hot! We now have Ghost Shrimp FishBites to pair with your bait.
In May they handed out samples to try that were actually early batches. Reports were excellent. They tweaked and improved a few things and now you absolutely should be using some on your next fishing trip to the beach.
Surf Fishing
We bounced back from the cold with these sunny days and are between 71-72 on water temperatures.
There have been some really good catches of pompano and whiting in the surf. There have been some really big pompano caught up to and around 3.5lbs and a few even bigger than that. The whiting bite has been really good when you focus on them and find their holes.Whiting up to 18” have been reported!Peeled shrimp and FishBites have been the primary baits of success.
There have been some big black drum, and some slot redfish as well.
We should be good for about another week until that cold front sets in next week.Speculation is it could be really cold. That will stunt the fishing until it lets up for about 2-3 days. That said, our waters are warm enough to shorten the stunt a bit so recovery could happen faster.

Fish-N-Mate Rake and Spike Carrier
This easy to attach accessory will make your next trip to the beach a whole lot easier! This Rake and Spike holder fits 4 Fish-N-Mate Sand Spikes and a Fish-N-Mate Sand Flea Rake.
Pier Fishing
Amazingly there were a number of yellowfin tuna hooked and a few caught on piers to our West! We may never see anything like this again!
Anyhow, there have been some great king mackerel catches at time over the last 2 weeks. It has not been super steady, but more of a bunch of bites in a short time frame and then quiet.
There are still some redfish and sheepshead hanging out around the pier as well as sharks. In closer there have been some whiting and some pompano.

Bottom Fishing
Get out there because time is ticking and next weekend we may have some high winds. All reports are of good bites if you get out deep enough.
Lots of red snapper, some mangrove, some red grouper, and a bunch of almaco jacks are biting. There have been many back to the dock by noon with all the fish they wanted. Most baits are working from squid, frozen cigars, northern mackerel, bonito, and such. There has still been good luck on live bait too and the bait boat has still been having enough to sell you some for the day.
Currently we have 7 days left in November and then the dates in December for red snapper.

RED SNAPPER OPEN DATES REMAINING:
November: 21-23, 27-30
December: 5-7,12-14,19-21,25-28
Nearshore Trolling
There have not been a lot of reports this week, but there have been some of king mackerel and a few blackfin being caught nearshore.
Most going out are doingbottom trips with flat lines or going bottom fishing and then trolling. Some troll first early then go out to bottom fish as well.King mackerel are the primary target currently.

Offshore
There have not been a lot of reports, but we have heard of folks catching been some wahoo, some blackfin tuna, some mahi, along with a decent number of secondhand reports of good marlin.
Between now and the weather coming in late week next week is the current window if you can break away and get out there!
